Privacy notice

The Parques del Sol Community Portal keeps a database of the owners and renters who use it. Each person's data is the responsibility of the Administración of the condominio their filial belongs to (Jacaranda, Malinche, Roble Sabana or Andira), that is, the management company representing it. Information common to the whole development is the responsibility of the Administración of the Condominio Finca Madre Parques del Sol. The Juntas Directivas and the Junta Asesora use the portal to communicate with and consult the owners.

• Your name, email address and, if you give it, phone number.
• Your filial or filiales and whether you are an owner or a renter.
• Your votes and answers in polls and assemblies, recorded under the filial, and any comments you write.
• Requests and messages you send to the Juntas or the Administración through the portal or by email.
• Your notice preferences and, if you use the portal app and turn on notices on your phone, the identifier Apple assigns that phone to deliver them.

• Confirming you are an owner or renter of a filial and giving you access to the portal.
• Letting you vote and answer polls and assemblies, once per filial, and publishing aggregate results.
• Sending you notices of polls, assemblies and communications from your condominio and the Finca Madre, and handling your requests.

We use your data for nothing else, and never sell it or pass it on for commercial or advertising purposes.

• Your condominio's Administración and Junta Directiva, and the Finca Madre's Administración and Junta Asesora for what concerns the whole development.
• Administrators can see how each filial voted. Other residents see only aggregate results; your poll comments are shown without your name or filial.
• If you propose a poll or join a committee, your name and filial are shown to other residents.
• The providers hosting the portal, who process data only on our behalf: Vercel (servers), Neon (database), Google Workspace (email) and Apple (app notices). Their servers are in the United States.
• Notices are sent through Google Workspace distribution lists, one per condominio: only the portal can send to them, and members cannot see each other's addresses.

Your name, email and filial are needed to use the portal; phone and messages are optional. Without them you cannot use the portal, but your rights as an owner do not change: you can take part in assemblies through the condominio's usual means.

While your account is active. If you ask us to delete it, we erase your personal data; votes are kept only as part of each vote's record, under the filial.

You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, and withdraw your consent, by writing to administracion@parquesdelsol.net. You can correct your name, phone and email yourself in "My profile", where you can also stop notices.

Access is personal, with a code sent to your email; information travels encrypted and only the people who need it for the purposes above can see it.

By accepting this notice you consent to your data being processed for the purposes above, including its storage by the providers named outside Costa Rica. If the notice changes, we will ask you again.
